Lisle police recover stolen vehicle

Lisle police recovered a stolen vehicle after a brief car chase Sunday morning, police said.

Officers located a stolen white Kia Optima in a parking lot near Maple and Benedictine Parkway, according to a post from the Lisle Police Department.

An officer attempted to speak with the male subject in the vehicle, but he did not stop, police said. After a short vehicle pursuit the officer voluntarily stopped for safety reasons.

The vehicle was later recovered in a neighboring community.
