Medline donates hand-sanitizer

Medline Industries has partnered with the Lake County sheriff's office to provide 10,000 bottles of hand sanitizer to local law enforcement, according to a news release.

Medline distributed the hand sanitizer at the Lake County Sheriff's Office in Libertyville this week. The hand sanitizer will cover all 36 police departments and the sheriff's office in the county's 51 municipalities and unincorporated areas.

As one of the largest private employers in Lake County and one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of personal protective equipment, this is Medline's latest contribution of PPE to Chicago-area communities. At the outset of the pandemic in March, Medline redeployed its manufacturing capabilities in Hartland, Wisconsin to produce 400,000 bottles of hand sanitizer weekly and distribute to health care workers on the front lines, the release stated.
