Libertyville police are searching for two men after an armed carjacking late Sunday night.

Officers responded at 11:29 p.m. Sunday to the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Red Top Drive, according to a news release from Libertyville police. The two carjackers got out of a black Volkswagen, and one demanded the victim's car keys and phone at gunpoint, authorities said. After the victim complied, one of the carjackers hit him in the head.
