Naperville police searching for man who robbed pizza delivery driver

Naperville police are searching for a man accused of robbing a pizza delivery driver Monday night, authorities said.

The driver had just completed a delivery about 7:30 p.m. when he was approached in the 100 block of East Bailey Road by the suspect, who implied he had a gun and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a Naperville news release.

The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s with an athletic build and short braids, police said. He was between 5 feet, 9 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, was missing a front left tooth, and wore a dark hoodie, dark jeans and gym shoes.

The man was last seen leaving the area on foot through the parking lot, officials said.
