Palatine Park District celebrates 75th anniversary Saturday
The Palatine Park District will celebrate its 75th anniversary Saturday by hosting a modified special event called Park Quest.
Participants will take part in a scavenger hunt from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. that will have them exploring park district parks and facilities, completing challenges and solving clues along the way. Those who finish will earn prizes including $10 Palatine Park District gift card. Registration is $10.
The anniversary observance will continue at 4 p.m. with a socially distant celebration featuring entertainment on the park district's YouTube channel, headlined by a live performance by the band Soda.
