NorthShore Glenbrook Hospital receives art donation honoring nurses

Artwork designed to honor and inspire front-line workers was donated this summer to NorthShore Glenbrook Hospital. The piece was a gift of John Supera of Chicago and created by well-known local artist Matthew Hoffman.

"This donation is a shining example of how kindness and paying it forward make an impact with the ripple effect. The inspirational message of hope and solidarity will reach workers and patients of NorthShore University HealthSystem, touching far more lives than anyone likely anticipated," said Jesse Peterson Hall, President of NorthShore Glenbrook Hospital.

"We're all in this together," featuring bright yellow lettering in machine-cut plastic, was purchased by Supera, a client and friend of curators Lindsey Meyers and Simone Garcia, who own Beauty & Brawn in Chicago. After Supera purchased the piece, he challenged Meyers and Garcia with the task of finding a deserving home for it.

"I know how uplifting and impactful art is to me, and I wanted to share that with others at a time when we all need this inspirational reminder," Supera said.
