Scholarship for Naperville student
Naperville resident Jhalin Scott has received a $3,000 Bright Future Scholarship to Western Governors University.
The scholarship is designed to help new students who have lost income because of the COVID-19 crisis and are interested in advancing their education as part of their "personal recovery plans," the university said in a news release.
Scott is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, management and marketing from Western Governors University. The university's Strategic Partnerships Manager Christy Seawall conducted a virtual scholarship presentation recently to award Scott with the funds.
