Blood drive planned in Lake Zurich
Lake County residents are asked to donate blood on Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the community room at the Foglia YMCA Center, 1025 N. Old McHenry Road in Lake Zurich.
Versiti will team up with State Rep. Mary Edly-Allen, of Libertyville to host the event.
There is no inherent risk of contracting COVID-19 from donating blood. However, extra precautions will be taken to protect staff and donors including physical distancing, frequent equipment sanitation, and the use of masks.
