Bartlett man charged after fireworks damage three vehicles
A Bartlett man on July 23 was arrested and charged with felony criminal damage stemming from a fireworks incident involving three vehicles.
Armando. J. Minasola, 34, of Bartlett, was charged by the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office and Barlett Police with a Class 3 felony for criminal damage to property and a Class A misdemeanor for possession, sale or use of fireworks.
Bartlett Police responded to an address on Georgian Place on July 5 for a call to investigate damage to several vehicles, allegedly as a result of fireworks.
According to police, the victim said Minasola possessed, used and exploded fireworks in a reckless manner, causing more than $10,000 but less than $100,000 damage to his three cars parked in the driveway: a 2014 Ford F-150, a 2012 Chrysler 200 and a 2016 Honda CR-V.
Minasola was taken into custody last week and released after posting $500 bail. His next court date is Aug. 10.
