Naper Settlement reopening

The Naper Settlement history museum in Naperville plans to reopen Tuesday with limited capacity and strict social distancing requirements in place for visitors, volunteers and staff members.

All visitors will be required to wear face coverings when inside buildings and when social distancing cannot be maintained outdoors. Each visitor group, defined as people who have been self-isolating together during the stay-at-home order, must stay six feet away from each other visitor or visitor group.

The museum plans to offer new tour options that promote social distancing beginning Thursday for no more than eight people in a group. Guided tours will be available on a rolling basis during normal operating hours. Self-guided tours also are available on the museum's mobile tour app.

The Rita (Fredenhagen) and John Harvard Early Learning Playscape will remain closed.
