Schaumburg Township Food Pantry returning to normal operation
The Schaumburg Township Food Pantry's last day for emergency drive-through food distribution will be Tuesday, June 30.
The pantry at 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates will resume its normal appointment model beginning Monday, July 6.
The pantry will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment. Appointments can be easily made by calling (847) 884-0030, ext. 1013.
Clients can visit the pantry twice a month, but must bring a current piece of mail issued within the last 30 days as proof of residency.
Appointments will be in the township's gymnasium, and clients should enter through the building's main entrance. The building's north entrance remains closed.
