State Rep. Morrison hosts telephone town hall Wednesday

State Rep. Tom Morrison is hosting a Telephone Town Hall at 7 p.m. Wednesday for residents in his 54th District to talk about state issues and garner feedback from constituents.

Residents can access the town hall by dialing toll-free (877) 229-8493 and using the pin number 112825. The event also be available on livestream at


"We haven't had the ability to hold our mobile office hours or attend other large-scale community gatherings, so this is a great opportunity for me to remotely engage with district residents," Morrison, a Republican from Palatine, said in an announcement of the event. "Residents can also listen in to the top concerns of their neighbors."

The 54th District encompasses portions of Arlington Heights, Barrington, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Palatine, Rolling Meadows and South Barrington.
