West Chicago launching Haiku project

The West Chicago Cultural Arts Commission is inviting residents and businesses to play host to a Haiku yard sign that speaks about hope and positivity.

Individuals and businesses are being asked to register to display one of the messages organizers hope to spread throughout the community.

Poets and community members have been submitting their original Haiku to be part of the campaign. The commission will print the selected haiku on 18-by-24-inch double-sided yard signs and install them in the coming weeks.
