<h3 class="breakHead">What was new for the Class of 2020: We're currently undergoing construction on our new and improved studio for the Beacon Academy of Digital and Media Arts. We added lights and a press box to our stadium and hosted our first ever night game in September.</h3>

<h3 class="breakHead">Principal's reflections on the Class of 2020: Class of 2020 ... This has most certainly not been the way you would want your high school career to end, with a virtual graduation three weeks after your regularly planned graduation at the Sears Centre. It's most certainly not the way that your parents, your teachers and staff at South Elgin, and I would either. We all miss the traditions and events that bridge the gap from high school to the world that</h3>

<h3 class="breakHead">awaits. We all miss the proms, the concerts, the games, in-person student recognitions of scholarships and awards and for me the annual meeting with seniors to talk about the ideas for the Senior prank! You will go on to do great things and I can't wait to watch you all shine! Congratulations to the Class of 2020!</h3>
