Naperville approves road work contract

Naperville City Council members have approved a $3 million contract with K-Five Construction Corporation to resurface streets in several subdivisions.

The project includes resurfacing in the Pembroke Common, Pembroke Greens, Century Farms, Bailey Hobson, Hobson Bailey Woods, Kimball Mill and Mews of Hobson Road subdivisions, as well as reconstruction of Gartner Road, Culpepper Drive, Huntleigh Drive and Dartford Court.

The contract is part of the city's yearly maintenance improvement program. The program includes a total of $10 million in spending on resurfacing, crack filling, patching, microsurfacing and sidewalk work throughout the city.
