Authorities release names of those charged during Aurora turmoil

Authorities have released the names of 15 people charged with crimes during a vandalism and looting spree late Sunday and early Monday morning in Aurora.

Two others who were arrested were released without charges, police said.

All of those charged were from the suburbs and most were from Aurora. Here are the charges:

• Juan Eduardo Ibarra, 49, of Aurora, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Police say he was arrested on the 1500 block of East New York Street with a loaded firearm. His bond was set at $100,000. He is being held at the Kane County jail.

• Michael Ray Salter, 19, of Bolingbrook, is facing burglary and criminal trespass charges after being arrested on the 1100 block of North Farnsworth Avenue. He was released on his own recognizance. His next court date is slated for Aug. 17, according to court records.

• Precious Faith Henderson, 21, of Aurora, is charged with burglary and possession of a controlled substance following her arrest on the 0-100 block of North Root Street, police said. Henderson also was released on her own recognizance. Her next court date is slated for Aug. 17.

• Frankie T. Higgins, 35, and Erica M. Higgins, 34, both of Aurora, are charged with burglary and retail theft after being arrested together near the intersection of North Lincolnway and State streets. Both were released on their own recognizance and given court dates of Aug. 20.

• Jorge Rivas, 18, of Aurora, is charged with criminal damage to government property and illegal possession of cannabis after being arrested on the 200 block of East New York Street. He was released from custody after posting $100 bail, police said.

• Kimberly Sheen Joyner, 44, and Jaime Esteban Olivarez, 19, both of Aurora, are charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest. They were both cited after confronting police at the police station at 1200 Indian Trail Road, according to court records.

• Angela Wiegold, 50, of Aurora, was cited for battery and given a citation and notice to appear in court to answer the charges. Wiegold was cited on the 1200 block of North Lake Street. Her next court date is unknown.

• Isaiah T. Stephenson, 29, of Aurora, is charged with burglary and retail theft after being arrested near the intersection of North Lincolnway and State streets. He was released on his own recognizance. His next court date is Aug. 20.

• Austin C. Hoening, 24, of Palatine, is charged with felony aggravated battery of a police officer, aggravated battery wearing a hood or mask, and possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $9,000. He posted 10% and has been released. His next court date is Aug. 17, according to court records.

• Sean M. Painter, 28, of Elk Grove Village, is charged with aggravated battery of a police officer and aggravated battery wearing a hood or mask. He posted 10% of a $9,000 bond and was released, according to court records.

• Genevra E. Mazzeri, 22, of Palatine, is charged with resisting arrest and was seen carrying a can of spray paint. She was released on her own recognizance.

Hoening, Painter and Mazzeri all were arrested near the intersection of East Galena Boulevard and North Broadway, police said.

• Laura P. Renteria, 32, of Aurora, and Kimberly S. Foster, 44, of Montgomery, were charged with resisting arrest and released on their own recognizance.
