Free suicide prevention trainings

The Illinois chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hosting three free virtual trainings to help prevent suicide.

The hourlong "Talk Saves Lives" sessions cover the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, the risk and warning signs of suicide and ways to work together toward prevention.

Sessions are scheduled for noon Wednesday, May 27, noon Tuesday, June 2 and 8 a.m. Thursday, June 4 via the Zoom video meeting platform.

Those who sign up will receive a Zoom link before the scheduled session in order to join the presentation.
