Free legal advice Thursday in Kane County:

The Kane County Law Library and Self Help Legal Center will offer a Divorce and Family Law Help program by phone from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday. People who are representing themselves in a divorce or have other family law issues may call the library at (630) 406-7126 to speak to a Kane County Bar Association lawyer for free. Attorneys Tony Scifo and Allison Urbanszewski will answer calls; people who are asked to leave a message should do so and someone will return the call. For more information, visit kclawlibrary.org.
