New Ranch View principal in Naperville District 203
Naperville Unit District 203 plans to name Andria Mitchell as the next principal of Ranch View Elementary, with school board approval expected during the April 20 meeting.
Mitchell has served as principal of Tyler Elementary and Gwendolyn Brooks Elementary, both in DeKalb. Before becoming a principal, she was an elementary educator for general and special education students.
Mitchell has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Jackson State University and a master's degree in educational administration from Northern Illinois University. She is set to begin her time as Ranch View principal July 1, replacing Principal Angela Stallion.
