Police: Villa Park man broke into three stores in Villa Park, Lombard
A Villa Park man has been charged with burglarizing three stores in Villa Park and Lombard.
Hung V. Diep, 36, of the 800 block of West North Avenue, is charged with burglarizing Ardmore Food and Liquor, 1638 S; Ardmore Ave., Villa Park, at 2:38 a.m. March 27, and One Stop Convenience, 344 N. Ardmore, Villa Park, at 4:31 a.m. March 28.
He also is charged with trying to break into 20 West Wine and Spirits, 20 W. St. Charles Road, Lombard, by breaking the front door with a claw hammer at 4:05 a.m. March 30, according to DuPage County court records.
