Hainesville gives $100 water credit

Hainesville officials have taken measures to help residents and businesses during the COVID-19 crisis, according to Mayor Gerry Daley.

The village will credit $100 toward the water bill from each customer. Water will not be turned off at any residence due to late payments and any late fees will be waived.

The village also will waive fees for business and liquor licenses, Daley said. He said the actions would help people weather difficult times, if even in a small way.
