Harper College taking measures to minimize risk of exposure to the coronavirus

Harper College in Palatine is taking measures to minimize the risk of exposure to the new coronavirus on campus.

Officials said off-campus, flexible learning for students will be enacted from March 16 to April 12. For employees, the college will maintain its regular work schedule through March 29.

Beginning March 30, Harper will begin a two-week social distancing period. Officials said the period aligns with the 14-day incubation period for COVID-19. During this time, employees and students will not come to campus, except essential personnel who will be notified.
