Low-cost pet vaccines available April 11

Vernon Hills police and Lake County Animal Care and Control will offer a low-cost pet vaccination and microchip clinic from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 11 at the village's public works facility, 490 Greenleaf Drive. Services include one-year rabies vaccinations (with Lake County tag), distemper and/or microchipping. Nail trims for a $5 donation to the 4-H K9 Krew. Cash only. Pets must be at least four months old. Leashes/cages required. Open to everyone, regardless of residency. Visit the pet clinic Web page, www.lakecountyil.gov.
