Gurnee library to host event on spotting fake news

The Warren-Newport Public Library in Gurnee will host an event on how to spot fake news. The free event will run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 5. According to the library's website, the program will arm attendees with the skills and tools to assess and determine whether information is accurate, and provide insight in the tactics used to create and disperse fake news.
