A colorful show: Larkin dancers to present 'The Day the Crayons Quit'

Larkin High School's Visual and Performing Arts Academy dance program will present "The Day the Crayons Quit" by Oliver Jeffers as its Bring a Book to Life production.

Performances are 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, and 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at Larkin High School, 1475 Larkin Ave., Elgin. Tickets are $10 and $5 for students. Tickets are available at the door, payable with cash or check only. There are no advance ticket sales.

This dancing adaptation of the award-winning picture book is geared toward children. Kids will smile with delight as they watch the crayons complain to Dylan about his coloring choices. For details, call (847) 888-5200 or visit www.u-46.org/lhs.
