District 15 foundation holding fundraising raffle

A private fundraising organization associated with Palatine Township Elementary District 15 is selling 50/50 raffle tickets for a chance to win up to $30,000.

Tickets are $100 apiece and are good for one entry into the one-five Foundation raffle. Only 600 tickets are available.

Half the money raised through the raffle, up to $30,000, will be retained by the foundation to further its charitable work for District 15. One initiative supported by the organization is Blessings in a Backpack, which provides food to students who might otherwise go hungry.

The other half will go to the winner. Last year's winner received $16,500.

The raffle drawing will take place live at noon March 17 and be broadcast on the district's Facebook page. Complete raffle rules, terms and conditions are available at one-five.org/50-50-raffle. District 15 employees are eligible to enter.
