Volo Bog needs volunteers
Volunteers are being sought for a variety of duties at Volo Bog State Natural Area, 28478 W. Brandenburg Road, Ingleside. Docents are outgoing self-starters with an interest in nature and the environment, who answer questions about nature and the bog, staff the gift shop and assist with interpretive projects. Weekend bog naturalists lead two bog tours one weekend day each month. Youth program naturalists lead guided bog tours for school and/or youth groups. Training is provided.
