Promotions and more at Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District
Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District leaders at a board meeting last week honored seven recently-promoted officers and four firefighter/paramedics who completed their probationary service. Promoted were the following: Nick Asta to deputy chief, support services; Scott Motisi to deputy chief, director of training, safety, and emergency medical services; Erik Mandel and Vince Murphy to captain; Fred Berg, Caleb Meyers and Sean Wagner to lieutenant. The firefighter/paramedics recognized for completing probation in 2019 were Matt Arce, Matt Campbell, Tom Kelly and Joe Tucker.
