Hanover Township seeks Senior Committee members

The Hanover Township Board is seeking to fill three vacancies on its Senior Citizens Services Committee.

The volunteer committee serves as the voice of the mature adult community, fostering new ideas and providing opportunities for fellowship and personal growth. The committee meets the second Monday of each month at 1 p.m., with meetings open to the public.

Senior Committee members serve three-year terms, and are appointed by the Hanover Township Board. Applications are being accepted for the next term beginning in May and can be picked up at the front desk of the center or found online at hanover-township.org.

The Hanover Township Senior Center is one of three nationally accredited centers in Illinois and is the only accredited township-run center in the state.

To learn more about the committee, please call (630) 483-5600 or visit hanover-township.org.
