WinterFest at Volo Bog
WinterFest will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12 at Volo Bog State Natural Area, 28478 W. Brandenburg Road, Ingleside. Suggested donation is $5 for adults.
No admission charge for kids.
Events inside include photo contest awards, live Bluegrass featuring River Valley Ranger and winter crafts.
Cocoa, coffee and sweets will be offered for sale by Friends of the Volo Bog. Outside, bog tours will be offered all afternoon.
A snow sculpting contest will be held if conditions permit.
Activities also include hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
