Learn about birds of prey at Hawthorn Woods' village barn

Birds of prey in our area is the topic of a presentation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 at Hawthorn Woods' village barn, 2 Lagoon Drive.

Visitors will be able see owls, hawks and falcons up close at the event presented by the village, Ancient Oaks Foundation and Wings and Talons.

Visitors will learn interesting facts about the birds of prey, also known as raptors, including predator/prey relationships and the important role they have in our ecosystem. Call (847) 438-5500 or visit vhw.org.
