Stabbing near Cary under investigation
The McHenry County sheriff's office is investigating a reported stabbing Thursday morning near Cary, authorities said.
Authorities responded to the 6000 block of Acorn Court around 6:20 a.m. Thursday and found a 29-year-old man with knife wounds, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. The man was taken to Northwestern Hospital in McHenry and then flown by helicopter to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville, the release said.
There is no threat to the public, the news release said. Anyone with information should call the sheriff's office at (815) 334-4750.
