Lake Zurich seeking three volunteers for park and recreation board

Lake Zurich is seeking three residents to fill pending vacancies on the Park and Recreation Advisory Board, a seven-person panel that serves as a liaison between residents and the village board on matters related to the development and operation of recreation programs, playgrounds, facilities and parks.

The park board meets the second Tuesday of every-other month at 6:30 p.m. Its duties also include making recommendations to the village board when called upon.

Anyone interested in serving on the Park and Recreation Advisory Board is asked to fill out an application, which is available online. The application can be sent to Kyle Kordell, assistant to the village manager, at Kyle.Kordell@LakeZurich.org, or dropped off at village hall, 70 E. Main St.
