Take a moonlit walk at Fort Sheridan

The Lake County Forest Preserve District will host a moonlit walk at the Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve near Highland Park on Friday, Jan. 10.

Dubbed the Howl at the Moon Stroll, the activity will run from 6 to 7 p.m.

Participants will learn about animals and their relationship with the moon during the walk. It's free and open to people of all ages.

Registration isn't required. Participants should gather in the Gilgare Lane parking lot.
