Marathon music recital Dec. 14 at Adler Center in Libertyville
David Adler Music & Arts Center students will hold a marathon recital from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.
The annual Perform-a-thon features 100 performers and nine hours of continuous music to benefit the Adler Center's Student Scholarship Fund. There is no charge for admission. The event also will feature a s'mores bar, bonfire and glass ornament-making workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. The final hour features a holiday sing along.
