Round Lake area Shop with Cop donations sought
Round Lake Park and area police officers with Lake County reserve deputies on Dec. 9 will escort children in need on a Christmas present shopping spree, allowing them to choose toys, books, and clothing for the 23rd annual "Shop with a Cop" program.
Families were chosen through nominations from local schools and churches. The goal is to provide 60 children each with $100 in presents.
Donations can be made at RLPPD.us/shop-with-a-cop-2019 or mailed to Round Lake Park Police Department Charitable Fund, 215 E. Main St., Round Lake Park, IL 60073.
