East Dundee gas station sells lottery ticket worth $450K
A gas station in East Dundee sold a $450,000 Lucky Day Lotto ticket for the midday drawing Sunday.
The ticket, purchased at the Exxon at 305 E. Main St., matched all five numbers needed to win the jackpot - 10-17-21-22-30 - according to a news release from the Illinois Lottery. The gas station wins a bonus of $4,500 for selling the ticket.
The Illinois Lottery encourages the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until he or she can claim the prize at a prize center in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. The winner has a year to claim it.
