District 62 Foundation awards $28,880 in grants
The Des Plaines Elementary School District 62 Education Foundation recently awarded 40 grants totaling $28,880 for the 2019-2020 school year. The grants provide unique educational experiences for the students.
The grants were awarded for projects in categories including enrichment, literacy and technology. The foundation, which is made up of community leaders, parents and employees, annually awards grants to District 62 educators.
