Teams wanted for new robot competition hosted by CLC

The organizers of the new Lake County Robotics Competition hosted at the College of Lake County are inviting teams to sign up, and registration is free. The teams, each comprised of 8th to 12th grade students, will be tasked with designing robots that help the environment by improving recycling and waste disposal, according to a news release issued Wednesday by CLC. CLC's engineering department will help teams build and test their robots one Saturday per month from December through April. To register a team, visit The competition will begin April 21, 2020.
