Arlington Heights firefighters leading coat, toy drive

Arlington Heights firefighters will be collecting coats and toys for the needy from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15, at all four village fire stations.

The coat drive will benefit families in Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 and the Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization, while toys will go to Chicagoland Toys For Tots. The firefighters have collected more than 2,000 new and gently used coats since starting the coat drive eight years ago.

Donations will be accepted at Station 1, 300 E. Sigwalt St.; Station 2, 1150 N. Arlington Heights Road; Station 3, 2000 S. Arlington Heights Road; and Station 4, 3030 N. Arlington Heights Road.
