Route 173 in Wadsworth to close Monday for crossing repairs
Rosecrans Road (Route 173) east of Delany Road in Wadsworth will be closed, weather permitting, beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, for repairs to the Union Pacific Railroad crossing.
The detour will be Delany Road, Wadsworth Road and Green Bay Road (Route 131). The work is expected to be complete by 7 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, according to the Illinois Department of Transporation.
Expect delays and allow extra time for trips through this area. Visit idot.illinois.gov for information on state road projects or www.travelmidwest.com for traffic conditions.
