Des Plaines safari photographer to show documentary
Safari photographer Todd Gustafson of Des Plaines will discuss and present a PBS documentary that showcases his work Sunday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Gustafson, who grew up in Tanzania and has been leading safaris to east Africa for two decades, is behind the 2018 documentary, "To the Ends of the Earth: East Africa." The video presentation and discussion with Gustafson is set for 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 675 E. Algonquin Road.
Gustafson's work has been featured in displays and publications of the Lincoln Park Zoo, Smithsonian, The Discovery Channel, Nikon and San Diego Museum of Natural History.
