Golf Road work begins Monday in Schaumburg
Median, curb and gutter replacement, along with pedestrian ramp improvements, are included in work that will require intermittent, daytime lane closures scheduled to begin Monday, Nov. 4, weather permitting, on Golf Road between Basswood Street and I-290/Illinois 53, in Schaumburg.
The work is expected to be complete by the end of December, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Drivers can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
