Kids celebrate Halloween at Palatine party

Youngsters could be glad Saturday that the Palatine Park District was throwing a Halloween party inside the Palatine Park District Community Center. It certainly beat trudging through a cold rain to trick or treat.

The event for ages 1 to 10 featured activities that included carnival games, crafts, a glow-dance party room and goodies for the whole family. Parents were required to remain to make sure their children didn't pull any mean tricks.
