Wheeling Taste of the Town Thursday

Wheeling's Taste of the Town takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at Chevy Chase Country Club, 1000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling.

The event features tastings from more than 20 of the area's most popular restaurants, wineries and breweries.

Tickets for the event, a fundraiser for the Greater Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce, are $35 through Oct. 23 and $45 on the day of the event. For ticket information and event details, go to www.wheelingareachamber.com.

Participants include: Benihana, El Famous Burrito, Nino's Pizzeria & Catering, Big Bowl, Elephant & Castle Pub, Pita Inn, Bob Chinn's Crab House, Grill House Northbrook, Plateia, Mediterranean Kitchen, Buca di Beppo, Liquor Barn, Saranello's, City Works, Mezcal Mexican Grill, Spears, CMX Cinema, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Starbucks, Coffeessions, Old Munich Tavern, Superdawg, Chevy Chase Country Club, Tuscany and Wildfire.
