$300,000 bail for man after Aurora home invasion, stabbing

A 35-year-old Aurora man is being held on $300,000 bail on charges he forced his way into an Aurora residence on Saturday and stabbed a woman who had obtained an order of protection against him.

Tee Moo, of the 600 block of Hammond Avenue, is charged with home invasion with a deadly weapon, home invasion causing injury, aggravated domestic battery and violation of an order of protection in connection with the attack, according to Kane County court records.

Moo is accused of forcing his way into a residence while armed with a knife and stabbing the woman, court records show.

The victim had filed for an order of protection against Moo in August 2019, records show. Paris Lewbel, spokesman for Aurora police, could not immediately provide additional information about the attack.

Moo is next due in court Friday and faces a sentence ranging from six to 30 years in prison if convicted of the most severe charge of home invasion.

If Moo posts 10% of his bail to be released from the Kane County jail, he is to have no contact with the woman and no entry to the home, according to court records.
