The festival, in its second year, will feature nature's fall bounty - apples, squash, Brussels sprouts, peppers, beets, fall plants and flowers - along with sweet treats, hot soups, chili, hot dogs and hot beverages. There will also be an abundance of homemade and handmade goods and plenty of events for children including pumpkin painting, made-to-order balloon creations and dancing to the Monster Mash. The market will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the southeast corner of Bella Plaine and Grand Avenue in the parking lot of The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center at 3559 Grand Ave. in eastern Gurnee.
