Environmental responsibility topic of Libertyville program Oct. 5
A program regarding our responsibility to the environment will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, in the Koenig Center on the St. Joseph Church campus, 121 E. Maple St., Libertyville. The Rev. Richard Fragomeni will offer insights about Pope Francis' encyclical, Laudato Si' (Care for Our Common Home) and what we can do to act for the environment in our daily lives. Fragomeni is a professor of liturgy and preaching at the Catholic Theological Union and an adjunct faculty member at DePaul University and author of a series of inspirational books.
