Buffalo Grove 'Coffee with a Cop' set for Oct. 2

The Buffalo Grove Police Department invites all to join them for a cup of coffee and conversation from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Dunkin' Donuts, 245 McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove.

Various members of the police department will be on hand to informally meet with members of the Buffalo Grove community. Police hope those with questions, comments, compliments or concerns will stop by and get to know officers who serve Buffalo Grove.

"There can be an air of mystery surrounding police work, and our officers are more than happy to share information about how and why things are done," Police Chief Steven Casstevens said in an announcement of the event. "If residents have ever had a question about policing, now is the time to come and ask!"
