Hanover Township hosts International Expo Sept. 21

Hanover Township will host an International Expo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59 in Bartlett.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit informational tables from countries around the world, enjoy cultural dance and music performances, and purchase ethnic foods.

There is no charge for admission or parking.

The expo is co-sponsored by United for Peace.

Flamenco Exprresivo, a Spanish dance ensemble, will perform, as well as groups representing the cultures of Mexico, Nigeria and Poland. Vocal performances by Farha Salaam and Abdul Gafoor are scheduled.

An array of ethnic foods featuring appetizer-size portions will also be available for purchase from area restaurants.
